The Hunger Games Movie review
Hey, did you notice that today's March 23rd? Do you know why today is so special? It's becuase The Hunger Games movie came out today!!! And of course I saw it because you know how much I love The Hunger Games. (You have seen the background of my blog, right?) So I'm going to review it!
-Book or movie? Well, even though the movie and the book have a lot of differences, the movie was really good. Like amazing good. It's pretty close, but my friend and I agreed they're equally good. The movie didn't have a couple things from the book, but they were minor details, meaning they weren't very important to the story anyway.
-I really liked the sets, scenery, background, places, whatever you wanna call it. They're, like, exactly what I pictured it to be in the book. And the costumes were really cool too. I love Katniss's dress for the interviews.
-The way it's filmed is really cool because some of the scenes were filmed with a handheld camera (read it in my official illustrated movie companion) and it's really cool because you see things through Katniss's point of view. You only see things from her perspective and I thought that was pretty cool because in most movies, you see everything that's happening. The only times it's not in her point of view was when they were showing other people's reactions to what happened or something.
-Have you seen the preview? At the end of the trailors, there's like a whistling. I don't know about you, but whenever I see the preview, I always think "Why is that there? That's kinda strange...". But if you read the books, then you know Katniss and Rue have a signal sort of thing and that was their signal. Actually, it was Rue singing and then Katniss whistled it. It was really cool.
-All of the actors and actresses were really good. I actually cried in the beginning when prim didn't want Katniss to leave. And I cried when Rue died. And I cried when the first muttation came out, but that was in shock.
-Ok, Katniss, Peeta, and Cato were the last people survivng. Katniss and Peeta were looking for Cato so they could, you know, kill him. It was really quiet, when they were walking through the woods. They were armed and stuff, ready to attack if someone came. Then they realized they were alone and they looked at each other or something and then the first muttation came out, like jumped and it was really loud and scary. I like, almost had a heart attack. I got goosebumps and, like couldn't breathe. It was really cool, though.
I don't know what else to say, so bye!

Best Disney Songs Ever (In my opinion)
These songs are all MY opinion so if you disagree, I respect your opinion. They're not in any special order, either. They're just in the way I thought of them.
"A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" -Cinderella
"When You Wish Upon A Star" -Pinocchio
"You've Got A Friend In Me" - Toy Story
"Part Of Your World" -The Little Mermaid
"A Whole New World" -Aladdin
"Beauty And The Beast" -Beauty And The Beast (duh)
"One Jump Ahead (Reprise)" -Aladdin (one of my favs)
"Reflection" -Mulan
"Colors of the Wind" -Pocahontas
"Under the Sea" -The Little Mermaid
"Circle of Life" -The Lion King
"One Song" -Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
"Belle" -Beauty and the Beast
"I'll Make a Man Out of You" -Mulan
"Be our Guest" -Beauty and the Beast
"I Just Can't Wait to be King" -The Lion King
"Bippidi Bopidi Boo" -Cinderella
These are all I can think of for now. Yes, I am a TOTAL MAJOR Disney freak and I LOVE the princesses and all the movies. Yes, I cried in Toy Story 3 when I saw it the day it came out. Oh how I love Disney. If I think of any more songs, I'll add them later. See ya!

2011 memories :)
Ok, I said I would list good and bad memories of 2011 so here you go. I'll do the bad first so I can cheer you up with the good:)
BAD
-There was an earthquake in August. It was a warm, sunny afternoon. My cousins were over and we were playing wii. My older cousin was jumping around and when you jump, the TV stand in my family room shakes. It started shaking and I turned around to tell my cousin to stop jumping and he wasn't jumping. Everything started to shake so we ran to my dad and went outside. Someone yelled "earthquake!" So my cousins went home, we turned on the news, and there had been an earthquake in Virginia and we could feel it. Scary.
-Shortly after the earthquake, there was a HURRICANE! Oh my gosh, I was freaking out. We got everything ready, shut down all the TVs and computers, got our flashlights, and turned the news on. It wasn't raining that hard, but we were scared. Well, I was scared. We were watching the news on our 'safe' TV. (There was a storm protection thing on it) And suddenly, there were TORNADO warnings. Where I live, there are not earthquakes, hurricanes, and slash or tornadoes. Eventually nothing happened so we just watched Modern Family and went to bed around 3.
-On the last day of 5th grade, my best friend moved far, far away. Almost the other side of the country. It was so sad and I miss her so much. That day was good and bad. It was also the last day of school so I wouldn't be able to see some friends everyday anymore. It was also the last day at that school, because now we're at a middle school type one. So we were all going to miss the teachers we've had since 1st grade. But we started driving to Disney that night so that was really good.
GOOD
THERE ARE A LOT MORE GOOD THAN BAD
-Yes, on the last day of school, we drove to Disney! We made it there the next morning and we did have a very magical time. After Disney, the vacation wasn't over yet! We drove a little south to Hutchinson Island and met up with a ton of family! It was so much fun! I'll add pictures in another post.
-I started 6th grade which is so cool! it's like middle school and I got 2 lockers! (yah, I really need a shelf) We have dances, club, activities, it's awesome!
-On my 12th birthday, I was invited to go to Disney again with my best friend (more like sister) Zoe! We had an AMAZING time! Disney is so much fun when you go with your best friend.
-The day after Christmas, we went to Hershey! It's tradition with my dad's side of the family. It's so much fun! There's a picture I took of the cow at the beginning of the chocolate ride. We didn't go to the park because it was only open at night, but we did go to Chocolate World!
-Before school started, I went to Hershey again and went to the park this time. I'd have to say my favorite ride was the Reesee's Cup Challenge! Peanut butter all the way!
-During the summer, I got to spend a lot of time with another one of my epikal friends. We went to the pool a lot and had awesome sunglasses! ;p
Ok, id I named any other good things, I'd never finish this post. Happy new year again! And you can find epic videos on my new YouTube channel : TheMustachedNinja

Happy New Year!!!
Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's already 2012. How did you spend your new year's eve? I went to a neighbor's house for a party! While we waited for midnight to arrive, I brushed dolls' hair, helped little girls set up a fashion show and do makeup, and played super Mario! Before the ball was going to drop, all the parents got wine or champagne in a small plastic cup. Then a mom handed me one and it was sparkling apple cidar! It was really good! Isn't that creative? Then we went out on the deck and did sparklers! But I was freezing so I went back in. After another hour of partying, we went home and went to bed. Do you have any resolutions? Here are mine:
1.be healthier
2.be happier
3.be neater/more organized
I hope you all had a good holiday and a great new year! Best wishes for 2012!
