The Hunger Games Movie review

Hey, did you notice that today's March 23rd? Do you know why today is so special? It's becuase The Hunger Games movie came out today!!! And of course I saw it because you know how much I love The Hunger Games. (You have seen the background of my blog, right?) So I'm going to review it!

-Book or movie? Well, even though the movie and the book have a lot of differences, the movie was really good. Like amazing good. It's pretty close, but my friend and I agreed they're equally good. The movie didn't have a couple things from the book, but they were minor details, meaning they weren't very important to the story anyway.
-I really liked the sets, scenery, background, places, whatever you wanna call it. They're, like, exactly what I pictured it to be in the book. And the costumes were really cool too. I love Katniss's dress for the interviews.
-The way it's filmed is really cool because some of the scenes were filmed with a handheld camera (read it in my official illustrated movie companion) and it's really cool because you see things through Katniss's point of view. You only see things from her perspective and I thought that was pretty cool because in most movies, you see everything that's happening. The only times it's not in her point of view was when they were showing other people's reactions to what happened or something.
-Have you seen the preview? At the end of the trailors, there's like a whistling. I don't know about you, but whenever I see the preview, I always think "Why is that there? That's kinda strange...". But if you read the books, then you know Katniss and Rue have a signal sort of thing and that was their signal. Actually, it was Rue singing and then Katniss whistled it. It was really cool.
-All of the actors and actresses were really good. I actually cried in the beginning when prim didn't want Katniss to leave. And I cried when Rue died. And I cried when the first muttation came out, but that was in shock.
-Ok, Katniss, Peeta, and Cato were the last people survivng. Katniss and Peeta were looking for Cato so they could, you know, kill him. It was really quiet, when they were walking through the woods. They were armed and stuff, ready to attack if someone came. Then they realized they were alone and they looked at each other or something and then the first muttation came out, like jumped and it was really loud and scary. I like, almost had a heart attack. I got goosebumps and, like couldn't breathe. It was really cool, though.

I don't know what else to say, so bye!
